This alkaline cleaning agent, with its highly-active low-foam-wetting agent, has an excellent cleaning effect on all types of residues. neodisher LM 3 can be used to remove organic residues, e.g. blood, protein and food residues as well as inorganic residues, even those with radioactive components.
Because of its low-foaming characteristic neodisher LM 3 can be used for manual precleaning of laboratory glassware which can then be machine cleaned without being rinsed.
neodisher LM 3 can also be used for the automated cleaning of laboratory glassware. It is well suited for use in special washing machines for e.g. for viscosimeters and pipettes because it does not create any annoying and disruptive foam.
neodisher LM 3 is phosphate-free. The concentrate contains less than 50 ppm P2O5. A 2 % solution in distilled water contains < 1 ppm P2O5 and is therefore ideal for laboratories doing water-, phosphate-, metal-, enzyme- or serological analysis.
Laboratory utensils made of glass, ceramic, stainless steel and plastics will not be attacked, even at high concentrations. LM3 is not suitable for aluminium, anodised aluminium and light metals.
In immersion baths: normal soiling: 20 ml/l (2 %) heavy soiling: 50 ml/l(5 %) extreme soiling: 200 ml/l (20 %)
treatment time: 2 - 5 h, if necessary overnight
In ultrasonic baths: 2 – 20 ml/ (0.2 - 2.0 %)
In special washing machines: for pipettes: 5 – 50 ml/l (0.5 - 5 %), depending on process or pre-cleaning for viscosimeters: 5 – 50 ml/l (0.5 - 5 %) for laboratory glassware: 5 – 10 ml/l (0.5 - 1 %)
Do not clean goods which are sensitive against surfactants or alkalinity with neodisher LM 3 solutions.
The neodisher LM3 working solution has to be rinsed off completely (preferably with deionised water).
The special washing machines manufacturer´s instructions for use are to be observed.
Rinse out dosing system including suction hose with water before changing product.
Do not mix with other products.
